Issues and Resources

We are all one, and our numbers are stronger than the money of the elites.

We are often called to duty or action based on what we experience, learn or witness.  We may have different ideas about where to focus.  Whatever calls you, how do you make the most effective change?

Even when some of us are called to focus on specific issues we can do it with a holistic approach that does not harm other issues or peoples of any species.  In fact, we can often do it in a way that includes others, even if it is just in an opening statement.  If we can do that, then our allies will grow and the net good we do will be boundless.

Diversity is a beautiful thing. Species thrive because of biodiversity.  Human, and other animals, collectives thrive because of cultural diversity.  No matter the issue or who we defend, when we fight oppression we are fighting the same thing.   We are fighting against the idea that some lives matter less.  We are fighting against the oppression itself and heading off oppressive patterns.

In our activism we start with ourselves, harming no group in any way we can possibly and practically avoid, and then we do what we can to be good allies and take effective action on whatever issues we are called to address.

“We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”
― Elie Wiesel
